Digital printing (or Print-On-Demand) can provide more choices, features and flexibility than older methods such as traditional offset printing. Clients need printers to be able to produce cost effective, high quality, short run color printing in the fastest possible time frame. The main benefits of offset printing can be summed up in two words... Cost and Quality. Offset printing allows us to print large quantities at affordable prices while maintaining the highest quality. Offset printing produces finer lines and richer colors than digital printing and offers a wider variety of finishes, including matte, satin and high-gloss. Our Commitment:
We recognize that taking action on climate change starts with understanding our own greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. That’s why we’ve implemented a quarterly program to measure, reduce, and offset our carbon footprint, ensuring that every order contributes to a sustainable future. Our carbon reduction projects are verified through the Gold Standard Marketplace, guaranteeing their effectiveness. In the interest of transparency, we’re proud to share our achievements below:
MAKING WORK SUSTAINABLE.
Our initial step involved quantifying all direct and indirect company greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, which are categorized into three scopes. Scope 1 covers emissions generated directly by us; scope 2 encompasses emissions from our energy consumption (electricity, gas, etc.); and scope 3 pertains to emissions from third-party supply chains.
To achieve carbon neutrality, our second step entailed reducing our carbon footprint. We achieved this by switching off high-energy consumption machinery and area lights when not in use; introducing a remote work program to minimize commute emissions; recycling; using recycled paper when feasible; and replacing some desktop computers with more energy-efficient laptops.
Finally, we offset our remaining GHG emissions through the Gold Standard Marketplace, contributing to projects for a safer climate and a more sustainable world. Beyond protecting the environment, every Gold Standard Climate+ project also supports local communities with sustainable development benefits such as clean drinking water and enhanced healthcare.
